Carl and Patricia Odhner, the founders of Middle-earth Studios, began touring the USA in 1978 with a marionette show based on J.R.R.Tolkien's "The Hobbit". They've towed their eye-catching Hobbit House Theatre from coast to coast through over 40 states gradually evolving a unique form of story-telling, now known as Middle-earth story-telling. 

Their delightful stories have won the hears of millions of people, and today their performing arts company produces over 1,700 live performances of these stories each year.
